Carmel Arts Design District

Galleries, gift shops, eateries, antique stores and other retail shops focused on the arts are what makes up the Carmel Art Design District.  The Arts District is located in the heart of Old Town Carmel, adjacent to the new Performing Arts Center and City Center.

In addition to the existing retail space, developers are building a mix

of commercial and residential units, which will have retail on the main

level and residential on the upper two or three floors.  The majority of this project will be sold by the developer to the business owners, allowing smaller businesses to own their own building and have an investment in the district.
