Downtown Indianapolis |
|
|
Starting in the 1980s, Downtown Indianapolis began to develop into the state that it is today. A series of modern skyscrapers were constructed during this period, including the Chase Tower. Revitalization of the city's canal followed.
Downtown Indianapolis has many attractions, including the well known Circle Centre Mall, Conseco Field house, and White River Gardens.
The Canal Walk is a portion of the Historic Central Canal, an early 19th-century project designed to facilitate commerce. Today, Canal Walk stretches through White River State Park north to 11th St.
Canal Walk features a mix of old and new architecture, attractions and monuments which offer a waterside promenade for strolls, jogging, inline skating, biking and boating.

Harry Stutz, founder of the Stutz Motorcar Company, built and headquartered his car company at the present day Stutz I and II from 1911 to 1919. Stutz is remembered for many things, including the Bearcat which raced in the first Indianapolis 500 and was built at his factory.
Today, The Stutz Building is where artists, graphic designers and creative businesses come together with other mainstream office owners. It's a mix that makes The Stutz Indy's most unique space for rent.
